Meanwhile, My Little Bossings which also stars Kris Aquino, his son Bimby and child wonder Ryzza Mae Dizon crossed the milestone in nationwide earnings one day earlier than the MMFF 2013 2nd Best Picture, making it the MMFF 2013 top grosser so far.

Ranking third and fourth, respectively, were the horror film Pagpag starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla which already grossed more than P100 million, and the Eugene Domingo-starrer Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel.

Best Picture 10,000 Hours, action flick Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill, the historical biopic Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir, and dance musical Kaleidoscope World were the ones in the bottom ranks.

Posted on January 1, 2014 | 7:24 PM

Although My Little Bossings still leads the box office race in the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival, it is just less than P2 million away from Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy. These two movies are in a tight race to be MMFF 2013 top grosser.

According to Eric John Salut, ABS-CBN TV Production publicity and social media head, My Little Bossings of Vic Sotto, Kris Aquino, Ryzza Mae Dizon and Bimby Aquino-Yap had already grossed P230,444,229 six days in the filmfest.

In third place in the MMFF 2013 rankings is the lone horror entry, Pagpag starring Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Shaina Magdayao and Paulo Avelino. So far, the movie has earnings close to P120 million.

MMFF 2013 organizers have yet to announced the official rankings of the rest of the entries. However, it's safe to assume that Kimmy Dora Prequel and Best Picture winner 10,000 Hours were the ones battling for the fourth and fifth places in the ranking.

The films in the bottom ranks include action flick Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill, the historical biopic Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir, and dance musical Kaleidoscope World. The latter two, according to reports had only a share of 15 cinemas after about three days in the festival since most cinema owners decided to give more theater showing to the top 2 movies.

MMFF 2013 Latest Box Office Results: Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy Breaches P200-Million Mark

Posted on December 31, 2013 | 10:58 AM

Star Cinema and Viva Films' Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy is definitely a box office success in the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival. The MMFF 2013 second Best Picture starring Vice Ganda has already surpassed the P200-million mark on Monday, December 30.

MMFF 2013 Latest Box Office Results: Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy Breaches P200-Million Mark

"#GirlBoyBaklaTomboy has just reached the 200Million mark earlier today. Maraming maraming salamat po MadlangPeople!!! Deserve nating tumawa!" Vice revealed on Twitter.

Star Cinema's Mico del Rosario said that Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy breached the P200-million mark as of 1 p.m. on Monday which is less than a week after it opened on Christmas Day. He also said that the earnings of the movie is higher than that of Sisterakas at this point last year.

My Little Bossings, however, is still this year's top grosser so far reaching the P200 million mark earlier than Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy with P202,767,958.58 gross earnings as of Sunday, December 29, according to an Instagram post by ABS-CBN's Darla Sauler.

According to Kris Aquino, she and Vic Sotto already recovered their capital in producing the movie three days after the film opens in cinemas, an indication that the said movie is a huge it.

Pagpag is still 3rd in the box office race with over P100 million earnings while Kimmy Dora Prequel and MMFF 2013 Best Picture 10,000 Hours are battling it out for the 4th and 5th spot.

There's no official box office figures yet from the MMFF 2013 organizers and tally for the films in the bottom ranks like Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill, Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir, and Kaleidoscope World is just scarce since about 80-90% of the gross receipts for the festival came from the top 3 movies.

Kris Aquino to Transfer to GMA Network this 2014

Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is 90% sure that she will transfer to rival network GMA-7 in 2014, a source told The Philippine Star columnist Salve Asis.

Kris Aquino to Transfer to GMA-7 this 2014?

The source said that Kris will be a Kapuso very soon and that "no amount of pressure from anybody" can hinder her decision to switch networks. The source added that Kris can't say no to the "professional and financial side" of the offer, the reason she has made up her mind to do network transfer.

According to reports, Kris has already talked with GMA Network's majority share owner Atty. Felipe Gozon, and Smart's Manny V. Pangilinan, who is currently negotiating to buy the share of the former. Rumor has it that when the buy-out prosper, MVP will make Kris the president of the network.

Sources also said that there's a high possibility that Kris Aquino will do the TV adaptation of the box office movie My Little Bossings in the Kapuso network, of course with Vic Sotto and Ryzza Mae Dizon.

Kris Aquino's contract with ABS-CBN expired last October and currently Kris is on a vacation in London with sons Josh and Bimby. According to Kris, leaving the country is also her way of evading intrigues.

"Para iwas intriga na rin muna kasi napapabalita 'yung pagre-renew [ng contract]. Magmumuni-muni po at aalis," she told ABS-CBN News.

It can be recalled that Kris Aquino was among the original hosts of the '90s Kapuso showbiz-oriented talk show Startalk along with Boy Abunda. The two later transferred to ABS-CBN and hosted The Buzz.
