Xian Lim 'So It's You' Album Available this May 10

From being one of the country’s hottest actors, Xian Lim is marking another milestone in his showbiz career as he is now a certified recording artist with his debut album titled “So It’s You” released by Star Records.

After winning the hearts of primetime TV viewers in the drama series “My Binondo Girl” topbilled by Kim Chiu; enchanting ladies with his magazine covers and TV commercials; and proving his hosting skills in the recently held Bb. Pilipinas, Xian Lim is now ready to prove his talent in singing.

“Having your own album is every musician’s dream so I was very happy when I found out that I am going to do one. It is what I really wanted,” Xian said.

Under Star Records, “So It’s You” features five tracks including its carrier single “Puso Kong Hibang,” which is Xian’s original composition. Completing the tracklist are the “My Binondo Girl” theme song “Ako’y Sa’yo Lamang,” and Xian’s revivals of OPM hit songs “So It’s You,” “Reaching Out” and “Oh Babe.”

American Idol Season 10 finalists Stefano Langone performs his debut single entitled I'm On A Roll on American Idol 2012 Top 6 Results Show. The 23 year-old Stefano belonged to last season's Top 7.

I'm On A Roll is Stefano's debut single and is released for digital download last April 24. The song also features the hip-hop group New Boyz and Rock Mafia. Stefano's debut album will be out this summer under Hollywood Records.

Callalily Revives Eraserheads' "Minsan" for The Reunion Movie Soundtrack (Teaser)

Callalily revives the Eraserheads hit Minsan for the upcoming Star Cinema movie The Reunion. The movie's soundtrack will be released as an Eraserheads tribute album.

According to its director, Frasco Mortiz, The Reunion movie is about a group of high school friends who are looking for the true meaning of love and happiness.

"Isa siyang barkada movie na ipapakita ang journey ng isang grupo na close friends noong high school, several years later magkikita sila ulit. Doon ipapakita ang journey nila sa paghahanap ng tunay na kaligayahan. May ginawa kasi silang kasalanan noong high school at feeling nila kaya di pa sila nakakapag-move on sa buhay nila ngayon dahil sa nangyari before."

The said flick will also pay tribute to OPM music, mostly songs from the '90s spectacular band, Eraserheads. The movie stars Enrique Gil, Enchong Dee, Xian Lim and Kean Cipriano.

Video: Xian Lim Debut Album 'So It's You' Teaser

Hunk actor Xian Lim's debut album is all set for a release this May 3. The said album entitled So It's You had also the song So It's You as the carrier single.

The song So It's You is originally done by Raymond Lauchengco and had been covered by Christian Bautista as a theme song of the movie Dream Boy topbilled by Piolo Pascual and Bea Alonzo.

Xian Lim's version was also that good and Xian's soothing voice was just right for this mellow song. This is much better than Xian's cover of Walking on Sunshine which is used in his McFloat commercial and now playing on radio stations.

Xian's debut album will be released under Star Records.

Emmanuelle - 'Happy' Music Video Features Ivan Dorschner

Emmanuelle Vera, OPM's newest sweetheart had finally her very own album under Universal Records. Emman's self-titled album, Emmanuelle contains 7 tracks including songs which she herself wrote.

Emmanuelle is not new to your eyes as she already appeared on ASAP jamming sessions and also played a villainous role in Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin teleserye, 1Dol.

The carrier single of the album entitled Happy was written by Emman when she was just 14 years old. Other songs penned by Emman in the album include Dear Diary and Tonight.

Emman has also a duet with Pop Rock Princess, Yeng Constantino.

Xian Lim's Debut Album to be Released on April 30

Actor Xian Lim is now a recording artist!

Xian Lim himself announced on Twitter that his debut album will be released this coming April 30. The said album will be released under Star Records.

“Yesss... April 30, 2012...MY ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED!!! BE SURE TO GRAB A COPY!!! :-)))", tweeted Xian.

Xian Lim has been very vocal about his ambition to become a singer yet he said he will not give up acting either. He also attends dance workshops for his dream of dancing on ASAP stage one day.

Xian sang the jingle of his new commercial for fast-food chain McDonald's. Xian’s version of the smash hit “Walking on Sunshine" for McDonald’s is now being played on radio stations.

Xian Lim is currently finishing the movie The Reunion with Enchong Dee, Enrique Gil, Julia Montes, Jessy Mendiola, Megan Young and Kean Cipriano. He is also set to appear in a movie with his My Binondo Girl co-star Kim Chiu, who’s being romantically linked to him right now.

It seems that Xian is being groomed as the next multi-media star. Apart from acting and singing, Xian is also being honed into hosting with his first hosting assignment being the coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas last April 15.

Angeline Quinto's 2nd album, Fall In Love Again has been released. Angeline sang the carrier single of the said album, Bakit Ba Minamahal Kita last March 25 on ASAP 2012 on the album's TV launching.

Angeline revealed that her new song will be used in an upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye, making her the rightful 'Queen of teleserye theme songs.' Fall In Love Again contains 15 tracks, most of which are ABS-CBN teleserye and movie theme songs.

One exciting feature in the album was a duet with Angeline Quinto's idol, Asia's songbird Regine Velasquez for the song Lipad ng Pangarap, which was once used as TFC theme song.

Christian Bautista's Latest Album: 'First Class' Outbound Expanded Edition

In celebration of Christian Bautista’s 10th anniversary in showbiz, Universal Records is releasing his highly-anticipated First Class: Outbound Expanded Edition album.

This CD, which has a limited edition coffee table book, includes nine new tracks, five hits from the original Outbound, and new recording of his earlier hits Hands To Heaven and The Way You Look At Me.

“This album is really special because it celebrates my 10 years in showbiz,” says Christian. “This is really an important project because this marks my return to doing originals. I am extremely happy also that I was given this chance to re-record two of my biggest hits. Recording those tracks brought so many memories.”

The album’s carrier single Beautiful To Me, a sweeping ballad, will be launched this February 26 on ASAP 2012.
