Award-winning actor Piolo Pascual is vocal that he is ecstatic to have finally portrayed a role far from his typical heartthrob image through his upcoming action-thriller “OTJ.”

Sunshine Cruz Back on FHM Cover for April 2013

Controversial actress Sunshine Cruz return on the cover of FHM after 13 long years. Sunshine is FHM's first ever Pinay cover girl, gracing the pages of the said men's magazine way back in 2000.

Sunshine, who has three kids with Cesar Montano, revealed that she was very nervous in doing the FHM photoshoot since it's been a long time since she did a sexy pictorial. Her mag cover is the start of her showbiz comeback. She will be part of two upcoming ABS-CBN series: Dugong Buhay topbilled by Ejay Falcon and Apat Na Maria, another remake.

El Presidente Full Trailer (Starring Jeorge Estregan, Cristine Reyes and Nora Aunor)

The theatrical trailer of MMFF 2012 official entry El Presidente has been released. Topbilled by Jeorge E.R. Estregan, Cesar Montano, Nora Aunor, Christopher de Leon and Cristine Reyes, the said movie tells the story of Emilio Aguinaldo, the Philippine Revolution and eventually the forming of the Republic.

Produced by Scenema Concept International, Viva films and CMB Films, El Presidente: General Emilio Aguinaldo Story and the First Philippine Republic is written and directed by Mark Meily. It will open in theaters this December 25.

El Presidente First Trailer Released (Starring Jeorge Estregan, Nora Aunor and Cristine Reyes)

The first trailer for the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry El Presidente has been released. The said film stars Jeorge "E.R." Estregan, Nora Aunor, Cristine Reyes, Cesar Montano and Chrsitopher de Leon.

A biopic of the first Philippine president, El Presidente: General Emilio Aguinaldo Story and the First Philippine Republic is written and directed by Mark Meily.

Produced by Scenema Concept International, Viva films and CMB Films, El Presidente is Gov. E.R. Ejercito's follow-up to Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story, which reaped top honors at last year's MMFF.

Cesar Montano Transfers to TV5, to Host Artista Academy

Actor Cesar Montano had already transferred to TV5. Cesar decided to jump ship to the Kapatid Network after his one-year contract with GMA7 expired.

Cesar Montano's last project with GMA7 was the sitcom Andres de Saya where he starred opposite now Kapamilya Iza Calzado. The show ended last August 2011. Prior to that, he did the telefantasya Ilumina.

Before deciding to transfer to TV5, Cesar admitted that his camp has been negotiating with ABS-CBN. Last February, Cesar was actively seen in the Kapamilya network where he did several guesting including being a 'Hurado' in It's Showtime, a live interview in Ikaw Na! segment of late night newscast Bandila and an appearance on GGV season 2 first episode.

Cesar Montano said that his contract with TV5 will be per project as of now. As his first project with the Kapatid network, Cesar will be the main host of TV5's newest artista search, Artista Academy which promises P10 million, fame and stardom for winners.

Cesar Montano is set to play Andres Bonifacio in the historical action film, El Presidente, one of the eight official entries to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival. He will be joined by Gov. ER Ejercito, Cristine Reyes and Nora Aunor.

Gerald Anderson To Guest on GGV This March 4

According to talk unit's Lui Andrada, Prince of Drama Gerald Anderson will be guesting on Gandang Gabi Vice this coming Sunday, March 4. This will be the 2nd episode of Vice Ganda's laugh trip show since it started its 2nd season immediately after the  season finale 2 weeks ago.

Gerald will be joined by 'feeling geniuses' Keanna Reeves and Ethel Booba.

Last week, Carmina Villaroel and Cesar Montano shared their hidden talents with Vice. With Keanna and Ethel guesting, a sure riot will explode this Sunday. If I'm not mistaken, this will be the 2nd time that Ethel will be guesting on GGV. The first one showed Ethel in a very funny situation, falling in her chair.

Don't forget to watch Gandang Gabi Vice Season 2 this Sunday, March 4 after PBB Unlimited. The week after, hold on for Budoy's last week, only on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.

Cesar Montano and Carmina Villaroel, Guests on GGV This February 26

Last Tuesday, the taping for the 1st episode of Gandang Gabi Vice Season 2 took place and it is reported that Carmina Villaroel and Cesar Montano will be Vice's guest for the opening of GGV Season 2. 

Last Sunday, it came as a surprise that GGV will be having its 2nd season immediately. That night was supposed to be GGV's finale episode prior to its resting for months but it turned out that ABS-CBN management wanted to continue the fun and excitement GGV has to offer to fans here and abroad. So, Vice's Sunday night show will still air and this time, it will be the 2nd season.

Carmina recently turned kapamilya and Cesar had been negotiating for his return to ABS-CBN. There are reports that the Hitman star will be doing a teleserye with the Kapamilya network.

This February 26, expect a lot more fun and excitement happening on the 2nd season of GGV. Could there be any surprise guests? Let's see!

Next Sunday, Sarah G Live will also add to the Sunday winning formula of ABS-CBN, airing right after Rated K.

Cesar Montano Negotiating for his ABS-CBN Return

Cesar Montano had been actively seen nowadays in the Kapamilya network. He served as a guest 'hurado' in ABS-CBN's noontime show, It's Showtime this week and appeared on Boy Abunda's The Buzz and Ikaw Na segment in late night newscast Bandila.This ignited speculations that the action star will be back to the Kapamilya network.

In an interview by PEP.ph, Cesar Montano revealed that he had ongoing negotiations with ABS-CBN regarding possible projects. In simple terms, he wanted to be back as a Kapamilya. When asked about negotiations with ABS-CBN, Cesar answered on PEP,

"We had, oo. Actually, may offer sila sa amin nina Shirley [Pizarro, Cesar's publicist] at Boss Vic [del Rosario, Cesar's acting manager].

"Ongoing naman yung negotiation namin, nasa process kami ngayon. But there is still no certainty yet. Wala pa."

He also revealed that he is now a freelancer. Cesar's last project with the Kapuso network was a sitcom entitled Andres De Saya with Iza Calzado, who recently turned Kapamilya. Cesar's last project with ABS-CBN was the musical game show, The Singing Bee.

Cesar said that although he had negotiations with ABS-CBN, his doors are still open with offers from GMA-7 and TV-5. Cesar is now busy promoting his latest action film, Hitman which also stars Sam Pinto as his leading lady.
