Honesto Scores Newest All-Time High National TV Rating on Last 3 Weeks

ABS-CBN’s number one primetime drama series “Honesto” continues to inspire TV viewers to lead a life of honesty in its last weeks, as the teleserye topbilled by Paulo Avelino, Raikko Mateo, and Cristine Reyes reached its newest all-time high TV rating.

Based on the data from Kantar Media last Monday (February 24), “Honesto” scored its newest all-time high national TV rating of 35.6%, or more than double its rival program, GMA’s “Adarna,” which only got 17.1%. The show conquered social networking sites such as Twitter, where the hashtag #HonestosLastFifteenNights became one of the worldwide trending topics.

Since it started airing in October 2013, “Honesto” has won the hearts of Filipinos with its realistic and timely story on honesty, sincerity, and kindness.

Aside from its inspiring and heartfelt story, “Honesto” has also showcased ABS-CBN’s newest child wonder Raikko who has made a mark on the hearts of viewers, as well as the love team of “Honesto’s” lead characters Diego and Marie, portrayed by Paulo and Cristine, respectively.

How far will Diego, Marie, and Honesto (Raikko) go to stand up for the truth? Will they be able to erase the anger and selfishness in Hugo’s (Joel Torre) heart and finally fix their broken family?

Shake Rattle and Roll 14 Teaser Trailer Released

Regal Entertainment has released the official trailer of Shake Rattle and Roll 14 (The Invasion). The 14th installment of the original Pinoy horror film series is an official entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Shake Rattle and Roll XIV also contains three different episodes namely Unwanted, The Lost Command and Pamana. All the three episodes were directed by Chito S. Roño.

Unwanted features the first on-screen team up of Vhong Navarro and Lovi Poe plus Albie Casiño, Eula Caballero, Carlo Aquino and Eric Tai while The Lost Command stars Paulo Avelino, Ella Cruz, Mart Escudero, Dennis Trillo, AJ Dee, JC Tiuseco, Alex Castro and Makisig Morales.

The third episode Pamana stars two SRR veteran, Janice de Belen and Mayor Herbert Bautista with Empress, Ivan Dorschner, Dennis Padilla and Arlene Muhlach.

"You will feel alone here, at grabe 'yung suspense, magugulat kayo sa mangyayari, sa gagawin namin,"  Enrique Gil told ABS-CBN News during the press conference for the entries to the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival.

"May pagka-horror, may pagka-suspense din, more on suspense siya," Enrique added. "Basta makikita nila, 'Oh my gosh, sila 'yun?'"

Aside from Enchong, Julia and Enrique, The Strangers also stars JM de Guzman, Cherry Pie Picache, Janice De Belen, Johnny Revilla and Jaime Fabregas.

One of the official entries to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2012), The Strangers is ready to scare us this Christmas. The movie stars the hottest young actors of today—Julia Montes, Enchong Dee, Enrique Gil and JM de Guzman.

Directed by Lawrence Fajardo of the Cinemalaya 2012 Directors Showcase Best Film Posas (Shackled), The Strangers is said to be a movie about province tales on aswang and hunters. Produced by Quantum Films, this action-horror will premiere on December 25, 2012.

In an interview with website Push, Enchong revealed sme details about the film. “More on action and horror siya. Tapos subtle approach yung romance. Mas sexy yung role ko dun so dapat tinapay ang abs. Nagsimula na ako magworkout, ang hirap!”

Sarah Geronimo Drops by Kris TV, Appearance to Air this September 19

Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo paid a surprise visit on the set of Kris TV last Saturday, September 15 while Kris is taping for the show's episode which will be airing on Wednesday, September 19.

Sarah Geronimo's visit on the studio of Kris TV ended speculations that she and Queen of All Media Kris Aquino were not okay. In fact, Kris warmly welcomed Sarah, who came from a taping in a nearby studio. Kris also shared a photo of her and Sarah saying that she was touched by Sarah's gesture.

With this latest development, fans will surely get excited for Sarah's first appearance as a real guest in the said show. It's been more than a year that fans are craving for Sarah to guest on Kris TV but the popstar's schedule did not permit it.

Sarah said that she's been constantly wanting to guest on Kris' show and she hopes that her management will allow her to do so.

Meanwhile, the said taped episode with Sarah's surprise visit will be featuring the very inspiring family story of Janice de Belen together with her four children with John Estrada.
